About Me

My passion is to understand people—from who they are and what they like to how they make decisions. I focus on understanding what makes a person's experiences with products and applications accessible, enjoyable, and useful.

For me, the process for understanding users and creating positive user experiences involve two key steps:

  1. Analyzing users and user behavior through quantitative and qualitative research, such as heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, user profiles/personas, task analysis, user testing, card sorting, and surveys.
  2. Championing good user experience and evangelizing research findings through engaging written reports, oral presentations, and good ol' fashioned conversation.

I thrive on research and collaboration with others to create positive experiences for users, and I really do believe that good user experience makes the world a happier place!
